At age five, his talent was recognized by Shri Sualal, an artist at the Royal Court of Dholpur, Rajasthan. He took Ajay under his tutelage, convincing his parents about his capabilities. At age ten, Ajay could paint like a virtuoso. He turned his handicap into a tremendous focus and internal vision for his paintings.
